RIP KK: Two PILs Filed In Calcutta High Court Seeking CBI Probe Into Singer’s Untimely Death-DETAILS BELOW!
Krishnakumar Kunnath, who is popularly known as KK, is known to be one of the most celebrated Indian singers who has effortlessly managed to reign over the hearts of Indian music lovers and he has given many hits over the last three decades.

However, in a rather shocking turn of events, the much-loved singer died at 53 on Tuesday - May 31, 2022. 



Now, two PILs have now been filed in Calcutta High Court demanding a further probe into KK's death. The Calcutta HC has allowed a petitioner to file a petition over the untimely death of KK, reported TimesNow. 

Meanwhile, the report further added that the petitioner has south CBI probe into the singer's death. The petition is likely to be filed today.

Furthermore, a second PIL has been filed in Calcutta High Court demanding a further probe into KK’s death by an independent agency. The petitioner has alleged that there was mismanagement at his final concert. 


The petitioner has reportedly mentioned the negligence of the college as well, where KK performed his final concert.

Earlier, the Kolkata police received the final post-mortem report and chemical analysis of the late singer-songwriter KK on Saturday. Both the reports cited the cause of death as ‘myocardial infarction'.

For the unversed, the playback singer collapsed after the concert at Nazrul Mancha and was rushed to a private hospital in the city. He was ‘brought dead’ to Kolkata's CMRI Hospital around 10 pm, hospital authorities said as quoted by IndiaToday.

The news of KK’s demise sent shockwaves across the nation with many including Prime Minister Narendra Modi mourning his death.


Many celebs from the film industry took to social media to share posts in the loving memory of KK. Akshay Kumar, Vishal Dadlani, Karan Johar, Arshad Warsi, Anushka Sharma and more celebs had taken to social media to pay their last respects.
